What we did last half term

Last half term in English we focused on punctuation. We learnt how to use exclamation marks, question marks and commas within lists. We also worked on punctuating speech and focused this on excerpts from the film ‘Finding Dory’.

In Maths we worked on our money skills! We became familiar with making amounts using different UK coins and notes!

As our topic we focused on ‘Springwatch’. Within this we looked at classifying living and non-living things, life cycles and plants. We learnt about the parts of a plant and the process of germination.

Before half term, we visited Air Space Trampoline Park as a reward for all of our hard work. We had a great time! We had the entire place to ourselves which was so much fun! Our behaviour was excellent.

We were sad to complete our final karate session at the end of the last half term. We were all presented with an award from our instructors at Adaptive Karate. During our sessions, we have all learnt so much about discipline and considering our actions. It was a great experience for us all!

It was an exciting day for all when the goats came to visit Sherbrook! We were really happy to see our friends from Amerton Farm and meet the baby goats!
