Volunteering at Sherbrook

Sherbrook Primary School is looking for interested volunteers who would like to share their time and invaluable life experiences with the staff and students of our school and the wider community. Volunteering can strengthen and enrich the educational experiences of all, fostering greater co-operation among all partners in our community here in Cannock and beyond.

Our school welcomes volunteer involvement in a variety of areas and capacities providing either a short term or long term commitment to such roles as:

• Mini-bus driving
• Supporting children on a school trip
• Helping out with class activities
• Gardening and eco work
• Helping to run special events

This list is not exhaustive as we welcome any other qualities you would like to share with our school.

Volunteers derive a great sense of fulfilment and satisfaction from their work and our school community will certainly benefit from your generous effort and kindness.

Please complete a Volunteer Application Form and Volunteer Agreement and return them to our Reception or email to volunteering@sherbrook.staffs.sch.uk at your earliest convenience.

We will then be in touch with you for an interview, please note that any appointment is subject to the appropriate DBS checks and references.
